have a carbine-length AR, want a flashlight up front and switch on the top (thumb-break style).

the switch I have is attached to a longer than necessary cord. I know LaRue has a product that clips wires securely, but I'm not sure about spending 30 bucks just to clip a wire for a couple inches. What other ideas are there?

I'd prefer something incorporated into a rail cover. (I wish Magpul's XTM Enhanced panels were out)

Weaver makes rail covers with built in routing clips.  2pk for $11 or so last I checked online.

This site appears to sell them.

They also appear to have Magpul XTM Hand Stops too!

How many LaRue index clips do you need?  If it's only a few, send me your addy and I'll put them in the mail to you.

Just got to promise to pay it forward when you spot the chance.

I'd take up his offer then pay it forward...

Or just use zip ties

I always used the small black zip ties.
