copied from this thread "If you get a Streamlight Polytac LED, you can fit a pressure switch tailcap designed for the SureFire 6P, Z2, G2/3, etc. series. The threads are the same. "

but looks like the switch is 100 bucks...

I dont see anything about streamlight switch

EDIT*** I found this http://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Switch-Eight-Generation-Surefire/dp/B0028M41V2/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1305874652&sr=1-4

If that is true, then Lighthound has Solarforce brand 6P switches for $9-16 depending on whether you want a tail button or not.  I have one of each and they do work.

Well it was a good thought. The threads are the same but the depth of the cap is wrong. Its much deeper then the stock streamlight cap. Light wont turn on :(

File/cut/grind off some of the open end of the tail switch.  You can file down into the threads of you need to go that deep.  I dunno about you, but my labor is quite reasonable.

Thought about doing that, Then I figured this just gives me a reason to buy a Surefire G2 tactical to put the switch on lol.

I got it working. Had to take apart the cap and space it out to get contact the right way. I'll get some pics sometime.
