Any way to upgrade a led Pentagon light?  Since they were sued into oblivion,I can't find anything for them.

There is a guy on cpfmarketplace or candlepowerforums that advertised doing LED upgrades.

I'm not sure it would be worth it depending on the die size.  You may be able to get a slightly newer die LED in but the latest ones are pretty big.
XPGs commonly put out 240 lumens.  To the naked eye this will appear to be twice as much light as a 60 to 80 lumen LED.

Off topic, but they weren't "sued into oblivion". They chose to shut down after Surefire won the patent infringement and false advertising lawsuit. No monetary damages were awarded. If they were unable to redesign their tailcap so that it did not infringe upon Surefire's patent, then they had serious issues as a company.

Remember vaguely where people were turning down the P60  lamp modules to fit or were slightly boring out the inside dia. of the tubes to fit. Seems like the same philosophy would work with a compatably sized  LED  P61 lamp module.

The surefire p60, p61 and p60l lamps will fit into the 2-cell lights without any modifications. I ran a p60l led in my ms-2 for about a year with no issues at all. I have a p60 in there now. The surefire reflector diameter is just a hair smaller than the original pentagon lamp. A little foil tape will fix that up just fine if it bothers you, but it isn't necessary for function.
