Guy over on Bayou Shooters Forum has brand new in the box M952Vs for sale. So I bought one, $225 shipped. He only has a couple left.

This includes mount and remote pressure pad.

I don't know if I can post a link, but its under firearms parts and ammo.

If I wasn't worried about them having "fallen off the back of a [.mil] truck", I would ask you to IM the details.  SF items are serialized.

There are a ton of them on Ebay.  I realize tons of stolen gear ends up there.  But there is way too many for them all to be stolen.  It isn't like IR lasers, where there are 1 or 2 at a time.  I am seeing a dozen up for auction at any given time.  From watching the auctions, it seems to me the wholesale on the 952V is in the low $200 range.  Because there are a bunch priced from the mid $200 range.  Or they are stolen, but are not a serial numbered item as is the case with the Matech BUIS.  You are issue it and then do what you want with it.

That's a smoking deal.

As for the low price, I bought an m952v off the EE here for $235 a few months ago. Sent it in to surefire on an RMA, and got it back. No issues.

It seems there's a ton of these out there in general.

I been buying & selling on eBay since 2004, mostly tooling for my lathe or mill, and never even thought about anything being stolen. People have stuff they don't want/need/like/have room for, whatever the case, away it goes.  Same with buying. Most of my eBay purchases average 10%-20% of new retail.

I bought a new old stock SF M4 for $130 last month, about half of the best price on CPF, and far less than LAPoliceGear or other sellers. When I list items for sale, prices are always less than half of retail, sometimes just 25% of new. When I want something gone, it is priced to sell fast.

EBay is where everything ends up that the seller no longer wants.

Mine came in yesterday. Looks great, didn't come with batteries.  I'm going to try and pick some up from Marks today.

Scratch that, upon further inspection out of the bag it had batteries in the tube.

For those that have one: Whats the minimum rail space I'm going to need to mount the M952V?  I have one on the way and I want to mount it to my MOE handguard.  I bought the illumination kit for it and the rail it came with has just 4 slots.  Will that be enough or am I going to need to order a 3" rail or some such thing?

Thanks!  And show off your rig...wheres the pics?

4 slots is just enough for the M95x lights.

Got the surefire today.  I mounted it on my 300 blackout, and I have the ELR Torch from tnvc on my helmet.  Needless to say the torch is way too much though my nepvs-14 for close in and has a much more focused beam where as the surefire is more dispersed and softer for cqb.  I would recommend the light and the seller.

K so I received mine on saturday. Cool. Well today I went to mess with my rifle and hit the pressure switch and the bitch starts strobing and dimming..... So I registered it and called surefire and set up an RMA order. Oh well, after I claimed mine from bayoushooters, I did some research and found out that these doing this was a common issue, so whatever, provided I have no issues with surefire(as far as legit product lol).

Goddamn tho, for MSRPing at over $500 that's kinda greasy that they put out a product that malfunctions like that, that common, but like I said, I've heard Surefire CS is pretty awesome.

OK, I just received my newly RMAed light, just to let yalls know. Works fine so far.

Does anyone know how to remove the remote switch? I've messed with it in every way possible. Does it even come off?
