Wondering if anyone has mounted the dual output on their weapon, and had any issues. I
It seems to me that it would be a pain in the ass to try to just use it as a momentary click on click off type of light, if you can even use it like this at all? I did a search, and read that some are saying it would not be a good weapon mounted light? I curious if someone has tried this light mounted with good results. Thanks Gman |

You aren't supposed to put the X-series of lights on weapons. I believe all 4 of them have this same verbage on the back. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/E1derful/IMAG0122.jpg Thanks for posting this. I read in another thread that one poster called surefire, and they stated it was GTG for mounting on a weapon but this post tells a rather different story, and the box don't lieThanks for the pic. Anybody want to buy a surefire g2x pro still new in the box

I don't know what the fine print says, but I suspect at that price it says "Assembled in the USA", not "Made in the USA". |

They are designed, and asembled in the USA if u look at the other post above with the picture of the box. ETA: I still would like to hear if anyone has had a G2X pro mounted on their weapon with no problems yet. |

I don't know what the fine print says, but I suspect at that price it says "Assembled in the USA", not "Made in the USA". Unfortunately the LED itself isn't "Made in the USA" and being a 'material component' of an LED flashlight, the LED flashlight can't therefore be "Made in the USA" even when every other material component is. The LEDs SureFire needs can't be sourced in the USA. This is the same for the 6PX as it is for the LX2 (which I consider to SureFire's top of the range two-SF123A LED model). "Designed and assembled in the U.S.A. of domestic and foreign components. This product qualifies as "American Made" under the By American Act." |

| I have a G2x tactical mounted on a gun with around 500 rounds through it, it works just fine. I also have a G2x pro. I do not like the switching for use on a weapon. It comes on in low then you have to switch it off then back on to get to high. Of course just pushing on the button works, but fumbling with the light is the last thing I need to do in a high stress situation. |
