| I want to mount a flash on the left side of my gun. I don't want to use a tape switch, so I need to move it as far forward as possible to give my thumb room to hit the tail switch. I can't mount a light on the right side, as my sling thing is there, I can buy a rail to mount a light on the right side, my question is what type of mount would I need. and how hard is it to reach over the top of my MOE handguards. I'm thinking of going with either a 6PLed from the EE, or a G2, or maybe even a TLR1. I'm not sure. Thanks for any help, I'm just having trouble visualizing how far the reach is, pics would be great. |

Why not try a Vikings Tactical offset light mount and get a small section of rail for the moe hand guards? Alot of people here seem to like that combo. I run a G2 using the V-Tac offset on my YHM rails and it's GTG. That was my first idea, but since I like to run my hand out further, I can't reach the back of the light with my thumb, with out bringing my hand way in. I think I know what you mean, but if I am way off base, let me know. Thanks. ETA: I see the pic know, and my only problem, is I want to get my hand as far out as possible. |
