Just bought my first AR and have mounted a scope on it. I am wondering money wise is there a inexpensive lazer out there any of you would recommend.  It can have a grip switch on it or not? It would be for the occasional close shots when out  in the freilds shooting targets and whatnots..

You will not find that many members that are laser friendly on the boards.  Depending on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend you have some options.  First, you can look in the EE and try to find a used OTAL or CVL or other laser.  Second, there is always gunbroker.com you can look at.  Third, you can find one of the sponsor dealers on the site and see what they have.

These are popular among some people here...

LaserLyte K-15

Barska 5mw Green laser...

I have used both and they seem to each have their pluses and minuses. If you are budget conscious, you can't go wrong with the Barska from the Sportsman Guide website. Perform a search for Barska in this forum and you will find a couple reviews and people who like the unit.
