I need to know what a used scout light is worth. It has been used in Iraq. Has been spray painted sand. The lens is fine comes with both tail caps, presur swith and KL4 head. He wants 110.00. Good price or pass it up?

imo, if you're gonna go the surefire route and spend that kind of coin, do like i did and buy the brand new one (although not a scout in my case). its gonna sting, but peace of mind is valuable.

Whats the difference in the M600A and the M600C scout lights? Is the C worth the almost double price vs the A on ebay?

The "A" has more flood and the "C" has more throw.

KL4 head is M600A LED 100 Max Lumen output with 2.5 useful runtime. KL2C head is M600C LED 120 Max Lumen output with 2.5 useful runtime.

Personally, I would get a brand new Viking Tactics Surefire L4 over a used scout light.

The VTAC SF L4 uses the KX2C head, the same head as the new scout light, giving it the same exact performance, for only $149. You can get the VTAC light mount with it for
