[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Daniel Defense light mount?

I'm looking at purchasing the Daniel Defense offset light mount along with the Surefire LED defender flashlight. The Surefire being a 1" tube, will the DD mount close down on it all the way? If im not mistaken most tac lights are 2". Thank you.

The Surefire 6P has a 1 inch body, the E2DL series are smaller. Either one will fit the DD offset light mount, but the smaller diameter light will require a bushing which DD sells. HTH.

I have the same set up (x4) and a few weapons. The Surefire is easily manipulated with the offset mount and my DD mounts have never failed/loosened. I think they make the best light mount out there.
