I have one on the way, and I'm wanting to buy a mount for it, but I can't seem to find the specs on what size the main tube (body ?) is.

Anyone have any idea?

I have a LaRue light mount I'm not using right now, hoping I can use that one.

Thanks,

Gene

I have a Fenix TK40 that I love but I would never consider mounting it.  That is not a light made for mounting.  Your rifle will weigh a ton IF you put that thing on.  That being said I guess you can use some duct tape because that may be as close as you get to a mount.

Oh.

I thought that's what it was for.

Guess it's a good thing I got a good deal on it.

You can mount the M4 Devastator.  While it may be a little heavy, it's certainly doable.  I think Surefire even markets a mountable M4 as the Leopard Light system.  At least they used to.  Not sure what size the tube is though, so I can't recommend the right ring size.  Call SF and they'll be glad to tell you.  Or shoot an email to BrightFlashlights.

The SureFire M4 has a body of 1" diameter

Thanks guys.

I'm certain I've seen Marines with them mounted on their rifles.

Not sure which AR this will go on, but I do plan on mounting it.

Thanks again,
