I would like to replace my current G-2 bulb with a LED. Who has the best prices? You can see our TNVC Q5 lamp for $44.95. We have outfitted MANY folks here along with our Mil and LE folks. They are thoroughly field tested to say the least. You can see our new web site TNVC.COM for the lamps. Hope this helps. Vic |

The Malkoff is a work of art. It can be found several places, among the best are...
[email protected] (call, rather than email...much faster...ask for Calvin) http://www.elzetta.com/Webpages/interactive.htm (scroll down) You will need to watch your 'on' times since you have the polymer bezel and not the metal one SF uses on the G2LED. |

I've gotten two Cree R2 bulbs off ebay from two different dealers. Both were around $20 shipped, each. Both have been great lights and very bright. I tried three different cheap-o LEDs from various sellers and not the first one worked consistently. When they did work, they gave excellent light, but they were intermittent, probably due to cheap / poor soldering or similar. Two were that way out of the box and the third worked fine for a month or so and then started acting up. Possibly they could have been fixed, but I wanted no part of them after the third, so I gave them to someone who said he would play with them. For a serious use light, I would only use top tier products like those from Malkoff or Victor or Elzetta, etc. Others may have had better luck with the cheap-o's and if so, I am happy for them, but I can't help thinking that it cost me more than the price of one good LED to give away three that would not work consistently. Guarantees mean nothing if the light fails to work properly when you need it. JMO |
