| Just got my Larue QD mount for my Surefire weapons light and was wondering how you guys attached the pressure pad. I dont like the electrical tape method, but I have seen some guys using big rubber bands or inter-tube cut to size. Im leaning towards the inter-tube but just wanted to explore all options. |

I put some down on the grip, THEN put the pad on, then layered some more on top to build a good and comfortable palm contour. Putting a layer down first helps keep the pad from sliding around on the grip. Also, wash out the cuts of tube. Mine had a chalk type powder on it, inside and out. Washing it off with a bit of soap and water made the rubber more tacky. |
also any specific size bike tube?
