The WX150 is the upgrade model of the XTI Procyon, it's a little stronger than the XTI was and is now aluminum bodied construction rather than polymer bodied.  The XTI was a nice handgun light and the WX will be the same with a bit more punch.

Anybody done a side by side with WX150 and TLR-1 C4?

Aside from the strobe mode (of the WX-150) the two are very similar though the WX seems to have a bit brighter, whiter beam.

My procyon has a aluminum body.

I love it. very bright with a very clean beam.

If they make a updated one I am sure it is great. My procyon is noticeable brighter than my TLR1(older non C4)

It is nice to have so many good choices.

The only thing I am not sure of is the split rocker. I think I like the TLR rocker a little better but it is pretty minor

I have read that some people have had problems with their Procyons coming loose and flying off of their weapons during firing.  Is this a real problem with them and if so has it been addressed with this new model ?  Also do you think that it is worth the extra cost for this light over a TLR-1?

Mine has never come off but it spends most of its time on a tapco 10/22 stock as it has become my primary rabbit gun.

I have had great experience with my TLR as well. If the new C4 ones are as bright as the insight then maybe it isnt worth the extra dough.

Do you need the strobe?? (It doesnt work on rabbits)
