I'm looking for a tactial flashlight with pressure switch for my AR.
Here is the kicker... I want something that runs on AA batteries. I would like something bright and super durable. Not interested in anything that runs on CR123. Advice? |

The TK20 has a strange shape to it, I don't know how wel it will fit in a regular mount.
I've been looking for an AA tac light but I havn't found anything that looks good. It would be nice to have a light where the batteries are side by side so it isn't too long. Its a shame no one has stepped up to this market. There are a lot of people running AA optics that want only one type of battery on their guns. |

Get a AA Maglight, and get a Teralux upgrade kit.

The Ebay ad says "140 lumens". I'm not sure about that, but it was brighter than my 70 lumen Streamlight. |

I posted this in my hometown forum as well and I got several hits on the following light.
Fenix LD20 Looked it up and it looks like a pretty decent light and the price is in the $55 - $60 range. I think I will buy one and give in a workout and see how it does. Scotty |

As an aside, I recently picked up this UltraFire A10 HA-III Cree Q5-WC HA-III 220-Lumen LED Flashlight and holy hell is it bright. Not just bright for a single-AA flashlight, but bright period. Indoors, it gives my Surefire G2 LED a run for its money.
I don't know if I would trust my life to it, but it shows me that there's definitely potential for an AA tac light. Anyone have any mounting solutions for narrow AA lights? |
| If you like Olights this is an option. Olight I think you are cutting yourself short by using a AA light. I light with a 18650 battery will give you longer run time. In some cases a lot more. I just bought an M20 with rechargeable 18650 batteries and think this is a good way to go.Olight M20 |
