Why or why wouldn't you want an HID lamp on your AR?
1000+ lumens and 1-5 hours of run time (depending on the configuration). How would you want it configured?

A 1,000 lume light would blind you when you flash it on a light colored surface, from all of the light bouncing back at you. I think USMCO3 has a good write up on what kind of lights to use. I think in it he said not to go over 200 lumes for indoor use, could be mistaken tho.

A much wider beam thats twice as powerful will not seem blinding. |
