I did a search and didn't see anyhting here on Lumens Factory anybody heard of them or tested thier stuff?

I was looking at the EO-M3 380 Lumen replacement to go in my 961XM07.

Just curios if anybody has messed with them.

I don't have experience with the M3 version, but I have a few of their lamps in my E-series SureFires.  They have held up well for general purpose use.  You should know that their lumens ratings are "bulb lumens" which don't take into account losses from the reflector, lens or bezel.  Actual "torch lumens" is about 2/3 of bulb lumens, so about 250 out-the-front.  Also, I believe for the high output Lumens Factory lamps, bulb life is slightly reduced.  I use rechargeable Li-ion batteries with mine, so that offsets the cost of their reduced life span.

M4guy thanks for the reply

I mainly want to know if the 380 lumens factory is going to throw farther than the 225 surefire.

Cormorantslayer,

I don't have that specific LF bulb, but a few others.  If you check out www.candlepowerforums.com, you'll learn more about the LF bulbs.  LF bulbs have a reputation for being "throwier" than their surefire counterparts even at the same brightness - I believe they use slightly smaller filaments run harder, which produces a tighter focused beam.  So I think that it would throw better than the 225 lumen bulb, yes.
