I know mothing about weapon mountable lights so I am hoping the better informed may help me. I am wanting a rail mountable bright CR123 driven light that isn't huge (like some I see) has a LED conversion kit available for it, and won't cost too much as I am on a budget.  I want to use a pressure switch on it and attach the switch to a vertical grip.

Name, model, avg cost, etc would rock! thx guys!

Surefire 6P LED, keep the switching simple and stock. Twist to constant ON, press tailcap for momentary ON and twist to OFF further for SAFE OFF (Can't be accidentally turned on giving you away).
Do Not Get Strike Bezel option: It snags and is for hand held applications not rifle mounts.
Do Not Get pressure switching, wires snag and you're likely to accidentally press in ON (giving your ass away).

Keep it simple; you can reach the tail cap with your thumb from the forward battle grip so pressure switching isn't worth the expense.

Mount: LaRue tactical without quick disconnect which is more expensive and will mess up your rail system unlike screw on's.

Cost: North of $100 but this set up rocks, blinding light and super reliable: THE BEST

Recommend a supplier with a good price on the above?  Thanks!

The pressure switch wire won't snag if you install properly, and yes if you are a nimrod you might accidentally activate it and give yourself away.  But if it is recessed in a tango down rail cover or vertical grip you should not have this problem.

I am a big advocate of using dedicated weapon lights on weapons, and handheld flashlights should be in your hand.

Now all the things you asked for can be found in a Surefire M600a Scout.  Its small, has pressure switch, LED, CR123, and you can find them for a resonable price.  now what is your budget for a light and what are you mounting it to?

Well I ordered a Surefire 6DPL from Brightflashlights today!  Great guy.  Also got a tango down grip and a Daniel Defense offset mount.  :)
