[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 5mW laser

Ive been searching for a green laser for my AR. Ive got no real use for it except shits and giggles. Ive been looking for a powerful one in the $40-$60 range. Ive found a 20mW one on dealextreme for 43.88 shipped. It looks real nice and has finger adjustable turrets. But when you click on the ad it says the FDA has restricted lasers to 5 mW. What gives? It says they wont ship anything more powerful to the US. Anybody got one over 5mW since this came into effect? Pm me if you dont want it in the open. thanks

looks like an NCStar. I have the same one and love it. Not visable in broad daylight with high sun and no shade though. Fun to play around with, thats for sure.

yeah in one of the pictures the laser says NcStar on it.

Well i took the plunge and just ordered one from an Ebay store. Fishinghunting sports i think it was. Ordered it saturday got here today. Its super bright and just 5mW. i dont believe ive got a use for anything more. Made by AIM SPORTS INC.
