Has anybody used one of these lights on their weapon? How does it compare to other lights?

At $6,500 I don't think you will find many people who have ever even seen one lit up in the dark.  people may have seen one at SHOT Show, but little else.

There was just a thread on this, these are the "Dork Ops Knives/Counter sniper scopes" guys branching out into flashlights

I guess I am your curve breaker then.  We had Hellfire lights mounted on our .50 cal MGs for our force protection towers during my 15 month vacation to Mesopotamia.  I spent more than a few hours behind them scanning the perimeter.  The remote switch was handy and they mounted easy enough, but overall I was not impressed with either the white light or nvg compatible light performance given their unit cost.

If you're talking about the hellfighter flashlights, I have the two CR123 model with the crazy glass breaker thingys on the bezel.  The light is bright, and it is a real white light, almost like those blue tinted xenon headlights that new cars have.  The output is great, but it's pretty focused, not really good for a floodlight, but decent for a pocket sized spotlight/duty light.  It's a little fat, and the clip is useless as it bends and won't return, like they didn't use spring steel.  Also, the aluminum is really soft, they should have anodized it.  The glass breaker thingys work, don't ask me how I know.....but lets just say I had to replace a window, and I BARELY tapped it!
