I've got a Surefire weapon light, rail-mounted, but the pressure switch is gone. Everything else works perfectly. Now, I can live without the switch, certainly. But if I can get one for real cheap or build it myself, why not?

So, is there a way I can do it myself and just "build" one out of household items? Or is there a place that specifically sells just pressure switches? (I am not talking about an entire tailcap; I have one of those; nowhere I've seen so far sells JUST the pressure switch and cord though)

One option would be to purchase Brightflashlights aftermarket tape switch, and splice it onto the SF tail cap. To do it right, you’d need a soldiering iron and heat shrink.

dont you think someone should make a foregrip that had an integrated button already in it? maybe just -/+ wires in commom gage to splice to? like a tango down with a built in switch. little off subject but I was thinking that would  be optimum
