Im starting to think that there are better deals than the Surefire E2E light I carry at work. I would like a bit more illumination and run time.

Has anyone tried one of these?  I am tempted to give it a try. I am looking for something about the size of a 6P.

I wish I'd seen this one earlier.
Lumapower M1 would fit the bill and is better build quality.  Also has nice run time and can use rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries.

I received the light yesterday. My initial impression is very good. The tailcap switch has a much more solid feel to it than the Fenix type. The size of the light is similar to the G2 Nitrolon. I like the option of switching from 75 lumens to 130. The light comes in  a generic looking box. No instructions. I checked with the seller. Gear Lite has no web site and does not offer any other models. I imagine that obtainng replacement parts would be a challenge.

The Cree lamps are impressive. Seems to be worth the $49.95

I did check out the Luma max model. Looks good but a bit more expensive.
