I just purchased one of these and was wondering if anyone knows where I can a pressure sensitive switch for it. I looked on their website and apparently they don't make one. Also where can I get a good decently priced flashlight mount for a rail? Daniel defense is sold out. Thanks in advance.

The M4 uses the standard body so any of the hundreds of switch option tailcaps will fit and function no problems. The reason why SureFire don't give a variety of tape switch options for the M4 on their website is because they make a WeaponLight version of the M4 - the M98 Series.

So you can use the XMxx TailCap which is top of the range. Contacting a SureFire Dealer (such as those who post here) for more options would be a great way to discuss your options  and work out some choices for you.

Been looking at the M4 myself. How do you like it? What is the throw like? Can you post a picture.

Anyway about the pressure switch. Go to brightflashlights.net get the phone number and call Calvin. One of the best dealers I have ever talk or done bus. with.

The G&P remote switch tail-cap that Lighthound sell is installed in my Surefire M-4.
It is inexpensive but does the job well.

tripletrppr,

You asked about the throw, which is good, it put enough light to see clearly a hydrant 88 yards from my door, that big turbo head is good.

I recently did a shoot-out and the M-4 was one the lights I had, here are the contenders from left to right:
Magcharger, 200 lumens, Ultra Stinger 295 lumens, Surefire M-4, 350 lumens and the BOREALIS 1050 lumens rechargeable.

The distance is 27 yards, the camera is placed at 15 yards from the shed.

Magcharger, 40,000 candlepowers, 200 lumens

Ultra Stinger, 75,000 candlepowers, 295 lumens

Surefire M-4 (350 lumens, four 123's every 20 minutes)

Black Bear's BOREALIS 1050 lumens, 45 minutes run, rechargeable.

Best regards

Picked up a Surefire M79 light mount from Calvin at brightflashlights.net. It's perfect. recommend to all that are looking for a quick detach feature. That way you can really use that expensive flashlight you paid for. As for the M4 I really didn't have time to use it until this past weekend (opening weekend of bow season). I am very happy with it, I only put the additional 350 lumen bulb in to check the brightness. The standard one is sufficient; I can look through my scope at night and see good enough to shoot up to around 100 yards with the standard bulb. I definitley recommend this light, but not for $330. If you watch ebay there are a few that sell cheap. I winded up picking up a brand new one for a little over $200 shipped.

M4 is great, XM tailcap also great.  Good light output for indoors or outdoors in darker areas.
