Can the light be detached from the foregrip?? I just want the superbright light for mounting it on my ar15. I have no desire for a foregrip just want the light. Thanks for the help.

No. All one unit.

Sure you can remove the bezel and lamp from the grip but then youd just have the bezel and lamp from a 9 volt millenium light and still need a body and tailcap.

If all you want is the light buy an M3 or M96X series light...they are weapon mountable and dont have a VFG.
