[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Inova T-4

I have been using a pair of Streamlight polystingers for about 7 years. I would like to upgrade to an LED light, as the Stingers chatge doesnt last long enough for my purposes. I dont like tailcap switches. I am considering the Inova T-4. Has anyone here given them a good beating?

I think the T4 is rechargable. The T5 is the same light but uses 123s. I have a T3 and it is very well built. I have not abused it but it looks and feels like it could take a beating. They throw a long way for an LED.

The T4 is a very nice light. The down side is that it almost all spot with no sidespill. I caaried mine as a duty light for about 6 months. Very hard to use if you run traffic and write tickets with a light tucked under the arm. Not enough flood to see the ticket.

More than bright enough for most anything else.
