I'm not real up on the laser thing but i am possibly looking to get one for my M4, it would be more of a toy but if it's that good of a laser I would keep it on for my SHTF carbine. What are the difference between the OTAL and ITAL, I looked around but couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciate it and any info about one or the other would be great. I do want to keep it down to these 2 lasers because these 2 seem like the ones I want. I want to mount the laser on my top rail and these seem to be the only 2 that do that but if you have any other sugesstions then let s have them thanks, Bill |

ITAL= INLINE OTAL= OFFSET The ITAL mounted on the top rail will only work with a front flip sight as the laser is inline with the bore of the weapon. The OTAL laser will be offset to the left of the bore meaning you can use it with whatever FSB or flip sight you want. |

thanks FF0 I couldn't figure what the difference was especially since they are priced pretty much the same. It looks like I need to OTAL, have any of you guys had any experience with one? thanks, Bill |

I have an OTAL and love it. Its a love/hate relationship though. I love it but it was expensive for a little eye candy. They are very functional and are high quality too so the eye candy thing was really meant to mean accessory that you could live without. I think you could mount either one on the side rail without issues. |
