All, Does anyone have any experience with the Laser Devices Operator Flashlights? LD claims that they are weapon mountable, but I don't know if they have the shoulder machined into the body to keep the batteries from going forward from recoil or what accessories (Surefire, etc.) are compatible with them besides their own. Anyone with experience would be appreciated. JSR |
Two seperate companies, Laser Products was the old name of SF. As far as the LDI Operator is concerned it has both a shock isolated lamp assembly and battery isolation. The OP-6/OP-9 are suitable for weapons use. |

I've handled some Laser Devices kit and some of the latest stuff such as their Operator and Operative flashlight models look pretty cool. They are unrated (I guess through lack of publicity) in my opinion. If Streamlight had teamed up with Laser Devices rather than Insight Technologies I believe SureFire would be facing an altogether more impressive competition. In such a market there would be less room for companies such as Pentagonlight. Al |
