mfingar or scollins, I could use your help. I am looking for something to put on the bottom rail of my AKM. I currently want a forward grip and a nice (surefire) light. I currently have a decent folding grip, but I am thinking of removing it and adding a Surefire M910AB. Pricey, but ... well, what else is there? I do have side rails and I see a lot of people go this route. I wonder if there is something bad/not as good with the under barrel mounted lights. I would have thought the side mounted lights = wider weapon. Thoughts? Thank you. [the holding handle would be locked open if I went with a side mounted light so I could use a pressure switch. Also, the side rails are at 90 degree angle to bottom, not say 110 degrees] |
