That's a neat device, I did a 30 min. research on this item and like you said, its the way to go if one was looking for an Laser device for a rifle. I will look into my funds now to see if I can justify one. |

While my next laser will most likely be a LD OTAL, I have the L72 and it has some advantages that the OTAL can't touch. 1. The L72 isn't offset, it can be set exactly at 3,6,9,12 2. It uses L123 batteries (much more battery power) and can be ganged together with a surefire weapons light - both sharing the same battery body and switch. I initially chose it because I already had plenty of SF lightbodies and the head is modular. Anywhere I had a 2 cell SF light, I could swap the lamp out for the laser or simply add the laser using the dual head adaptor. |
