I have my Surefire mounted in the 3 o'clock position on my HG back towards the receiver.  I can hold my VFG and use my thumb to activate the tail switch...but...

What do you all do about the huge shadow/dark spot to the left of the weapon when a light is mounted this way?

Thanks

Try using a angle mount to lower the light and get the barrel out of the beam.

Well if you can see the light in front of you thats really all that is required to stun/ID a target or a bad guy; and as far a a shadow on the on the left side that would mean that it works to hide your lo-cal from the nine-o-clock side. Thats just what I think ..............
