I'm tyring to convince myself what to get next for my M4, a Beta-C or OTAL With ARMS Throw Lever Mount. Can you guys put up some pictures and comments on the OTAL. I keep asking myself " Do I need this". My heart says yes, my pocket says no.

| Just a quicky question. I have the ARMS 45m, and was planning on getting an OTAL. It just dawned on me that the OTAL looks like it will completely obscure the front sight? Is that correct? and will the thumb screw model sit any lower as to make the front sight visable above the OTAL combined with the 45M? Any way to use the designated PEQ-2 mount of the arms with the OTAL? TIA |

I love mine, thanks Grant, my only complaint is that the connector to the tape switch is a bit cheesey. I much prefer a hardwired tape switch. (Like my many year old LD Universal AR Vis Laser) Also the OTAL is shipped with a RH connector, the straight connector is better. Unfortunatly LD does not offer a LH connector. |
Okay, I'm an A.R.M.S.® whore.....I love the products, concept, etc. Always looking for a way to use the products. I want to A.R.M.S.® mount my cell phone to my belt!  With that said, the thumb screws are more than enough for the OTAL. How often are you really going to take it off? Optics are different, you need to be able to pop those fast, but the OTAL? Just slap it on and crank it tight. Jusy my .02 Hep

Is it me or your OTAL is somewhat different? Mine has the screw on the right handside and the laser offset to left (like Duffy's). Are there two different models? |

the only thing i noticed that is different in all the pics is that some have the thumbscrew on duffy's otal is on the right while the other have it on the left then theres hepcat's otal on the ar which has the windage and elevetion adjustments on the right while the others have it on the left also his has the laser and battery on the opposite side as well as the tape switch connetor. sorta like is a lefty type deal  eta noticed hepcat's otal that is mounted on the ar has all the features on the opposite side. connector switch battery diode what would that one be? lefty? |
