I WAS WONDERING THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE. What is best price u found for each. im thinking about mounting mine on side. i got m900a surefiregrip and ggg cantilever mount with aimpoint m2. how stable are each of them. how big is each of them i see them hard to tell if there big or small. thx |
The diff. between the OTAL and the ITAL is the position of the laser. The ITAL is Inline and the OTAL is Offset (to shoot around your FSB). I personally run the OTAL and like it a lot. Generally, if you mount the laser on the top rail you are using it as an aiming device. If you mount it at the 3 or 9 position then it is a designator... C4 www.gandrtactical.com

A designator is basically a tool used to concentrate fire. If you look at my pic, I am running a PRI flip up front sight. If you want to use the laser for Aiming purposes, get the OTAL. C4 |
| grant what u think about surefire lasers. Really alot of $$$$$. i never seen one on a gun either. i was wondering so u got to buy laser for 600 and then another fashlight for 400 or so that 1k for regular laser dam. Maybe i misunderstanding it. i love to see one on gun and find out how it works compared. only good thing i noticed is that alot smaller |
The SF laser is a good unit, but you also have to buy the housing for it (which greatly increases the cost). Stick with the Laser Device units. If you want an OTAL I am running a group buy on them currently.... C4 |
![]() Grant, Whats the group buy price on the OTAL? Thanks! Dave |
