Some people will say "Told ya' so!" I am running a G2 and never had problems with out the Z32 bezel, but went ahead and bought it anyway. This is even firing with the light turned on. I also took a piece of clear packing tape and taped my batteries together to keep them from slamming into each other. I think the G2 with Z32 bezel is a good entry level light for those on a budget. With the Z32 bezel's shock absorbing properties, the spring at the bulb, the spring in my pressure tapes tail cap and the batteries taped together I think I'm safe. I also use two standard Weaver rings for mounting, butted up to each other ,to help with vibration. |

I've got pictures to show what the Z32 bezel, the weapon lights, and the taped batteries look like: Surefire Lights Reviews |
Even if you get a Z32 shock bezel, your G2 still might not make it as it was NEVER designed to be a weaponlight. It is a roll of the dice to say the least. I have seen many that last and others that didn't make it after one round... C4 www.gandrtactical.com |
