Does anyone have any experience they would like to share with me on these? I am thinking about getting one for my M4. I was originaly going to go with a G2 with a pressure switch and antishock bezzle but I want a lazer also on my rifle and this seems to clear up some of the bulk that wold be involved in having both. Plus it can mount on my Glock. Please let me know what you think. Will it work good? WIll it stand up to the recoil? and is it bright enough? Thanks...

I don't have much one on one experience with the original M6 but as far the light itself it will hold up for rifle use.  The original M3/M6 do have some weak points (mainly watch for lossening of the bezel) but if you pay attention it can get the job done.  The new M3X & M6X that are out now are better lights but they're also a bit more expensive.

Thanks. I still have not made up my mind on this yet. I am still getting a G2 to carry back to Iraq with me either way that I go. I was going to get an OTAL but it looks cheaper to just get the M6.

I was also wondering if these lights are safe to have out in the rain?
