At this moment in time this is the setup I believe will work best for me. Being able to run CR123A primaries in a pinch was a priority for me but typically it will run 16340 Vapcell INR 850mAh 3A High Discharge batteries. It's a freshly assembled rifle so I still need to spend time with everything before I'm certain. Attached File |

Looks like 2005 was the last time I posted here. A lot of water under the bridge since then. Retiring next year, and setting my gear up for coyotes. Last night I decided to see if a new condition Surefire 951 with the original bulb that's been in my toolbox for years could still be useful. Mounted on my S&W 15-22, I went out to the desert and shot 50 rounds or so through it. Came back and ordered a Modlite FDE 18650 Combo, and I'm upgrading the 951 with a Malkoff device. The Modlight is going on my 6940, and I'm swapping to a simple tape switch for the 15-22.

My first stab at trying a remote tape. I opted for the Arson Machine wire guide pieces but was only able to use the straight through, not the 180 degree end piece due to location of MLok slots on M16 rail. Attached File Attached File |

Attached File Inforce WML mounted on a 10.3” SBR. Keeps the rifle nice and thin. Attached File Modlite PLHv2 mounted to a 13” rail with a Unity Fusion adapter. I find I prefer the clicky tail cap over the Modbutton lite. |
