Sorry to intrude on another dealer's topic but ... The bezel diameter is the same, the new scalloped bezel is only slightly longer. In fact, the scalloped portion of the bezel is a seperate component (lense retaining ring) so it looks possible that it might become available to upgrade the older M3 bezels. Lumpy, the V71 combat holster will allow it to be carried bezel down. Here are some photos I've had online for a bit: You'll see that the style of the M3 bezel has changed through time. The lens has changed from Lexan to Pyrex as well as the way of securing the lens changing. I have a proto-type of the M3 bezel with the scallops that uses "last year's style". Due to the design of the bezel I seriously doubt the scalloped part will ever be released as a retro-fit part because it is glued in place to retain the lens. The XMxx TailCap - New for 2004. Plug in cable tape pressure switch. And Push button momentary / click for constant-on switch. The black part can be rotated so that the push button can be used not matter which side your mount your WeaponLight. The other new TailCap is the UMxx. Same plug in cable tape pressure switch. Both the XMxx and UMxx are waterproof I believe. Al |

Hmmm.... airplane? I never thought about that. I am going on a cruise in a few weeks and they wont let me take my pistol or a pocket knife but my 6P would work as a small baton. Can anyone confirm if they will let you on a plane with these? EDIT... Just wanted to add, will SF make a replacement head with teeth for the 6P? I know GGG has the TID but it doesnt look as cool. |

If your fellow passengers didn't club you into submission with their laptops first... The one cruise I went on, the security was tighter than the plane I had just gotten off of (1998 or so). |
