| Just about done with my dads rifle and I would like to add a sling to it. just a basic 2 point sling nothing fancy just on the cheap price side of things. I have a Proctor sling on my AR and it works very good just looking for anything else out there |

Hey, First post here.. just wanted to say I picked this up at amazon and got it Prime for 10 bucks.

There are 4sliders on it to adjust,.and the D hooks are thick and coated. The nylon ends lets it stretch just enough so you can keep it tight when you switch from stationary to draw, or flip it around on your back. Its also nice because if I wear a coat or belt at range i dont ever have to adjust it. Theres a tiny bit of elasticity to it, but only if you are running with it with a full mag you may want to tighten it up.

This USGI type black sling is what I use for my M-16A2 clone rifle which is the correct type sling for that particular period, it could be adjusted and of cotton material made in the USA. I also used it for when I was shooting DCM (now CMP) rifle competition from the mid 1980s on my 20" heavy barrel AR-15A2 rifle. Got mine from CJ Weapons Accessories (site address below) and they also have even the very basic silent sling with two metal buckles for only $6.25 available in black, tan and OD green colors. http://cjweapons.com/slings.html |
