I purchased a new spikes tactical ar15 and would like to put a quad free float rail on it. Can I put any length since it's free floating? I'm new to the ar world so any input would help out a lot . Thanks so much

you want to get it out past the gas block.

With a low profile gas block., you can get whatever length handguard you want. Just be careful getting it to long that it cover a flash hider it may cause damage it you want it to go that far a liner compensator is what you would want. Good luck and welcome
