I just bought my first ar, a smith and wesson mp 15 sport. I want to put a vertical foregrip on the gun. What is the easiest way to do this? I am looking at a magpul vertical grip. What is the easiest way to mount this? Do I need to get a handguard like the magpul moe?
Thank you all for helping out the newb! |
Yes, get the Magpul MOE carbine handguard and the Magpul MVG MOE vertical grip. The Magpul MOE handguard is pretty good, you could also mount optional light mount and quick disconnect sling mount on it easily. http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG440/62 http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG413/104 |

If you're interested, I just bought a moe handguard and the vertical grip from brownells. They have a deal where you can buy the two together for the same price as the moe handguard is on it's own. It was around $24 for the combo. Be aware that the special combo pricing is because Magpul is coming out with the new MOE SL furniture which incorporates the M-LOK attachment system. The new M-LOK pieces will not attach to the older style MOE handguard. |
