For those who use an AR as the go to gun inside the home, what do you use for hearing protection? It seems like it would be cumbersome to grab your gun and ear muffs in a tense situation. |

If you are thinking about hearing protection as your door is busted in....you will be a lot more clear headed than I. If you think someone is in the process of trying to get in by way of a stealthier fashion than....no I still am not thinking about hearing protection. Just life protection. Mine and my family.

Why not stop and give the cops a call while you are at it. Smoke or get smoked.

Are you serious? but I will play... 1: Sleep with earpro, and make sure all family members wear them at night 2: Don't forget the eyepro. you don't want to lose your eye sight.
3. Or just tell the bad guys to wait until you wear your proper PPEs. |
| I use nothing. I figure that anything I would use would interfere with my ability to hear properly and would be a hindrance. I do have a pair of electronic Howard Leights but they only produce stereo sound so judging the direction of a noise indoors can be a bit difficult. |

Don't bother. Seriously. It WOULD be cumbersome. Just don't do it. Now if you're already absolutely set on wearing ear pro, I'd say wearing amplifying high end electronic ear pro like Sordins that might possibly assist you with your SA.
