So, Magpul has a new sling out - the MS1. It is designed to work with a number of different attachments for customization, e.g. you can configure it for use with QD sling mounts or the latch/claw mounts that Magpul makes.

It also seems that you can use the sling without any of those attachments simply by looping it through the sling loops found on basic M4 stocks and barrels. This is my chief interest in the sling. I would be using it in a basic two-point configuration on a couple of basic ARs. It advertises quick adjustment and looks sturdy enough.

Has anyone used one? How do you like it?

We have one arriving tomorrow and I'll post a review. We also carry the MS-series, BFG's VCAS and Viking Tactics VTAC, so I'll try to compare them. Cursary review, it's similar to any other sling on the market that does not include attaching hardware at the looped ends of the sling, allowing you to add what ever you want.

I'm using it. I like it. The slider is the smoothest (and easiest) I've tried, yet it seems to hold position. I switched from a MS4 to the MS1 due to it's longer useable length. If u set it up for 2pt front carry, it will not cinch up enough for back carry, but does have enough adjustment for either provided you predetermine it's role and set it up accordingly. It's a simple, versatile sling that will be my "go to" sling from now on.

Okay, so I bought one today and I like it. Local store has a few. I will probably pick up a couple more of them for my new builds. They have finally achieved sling perfection.
