Hey guys, brand new to the site and finally got my login info.
With all the types of slings out there and sling attachments, I'm having trouble on figuring out how to configure a tactical sling. Basically I want the rifle to hang around my lower chest/waist and be easy to bring up. Right now on my carbine I have a Troy duel QD swivel receiver between my receiver and castle nut, and a couple different QD swivels that I can mount anywhere on the quad rail. I see a ton of single and double point tac slings out there but not much help on how to use one. I'm told this is the place to find all the answers I need. |

You're speaking Greek to be brother. I see all the slings out there. What would you recommend that has the best instructions for use? My sling experience to this point has been using as a carry strap and NRA highpower for the last ten years.
I had the Magpul ASAP and RSA mounts and a sling with clips. Seemed like the rifle just wanted to lay on its side. Maybe I'm over thinking this. I just don't want to experiment with $50 and $60 slings until I find one that works. I guess I should check youtube or somewhere for videos on use. |
