I have a problem......And that is finding a sling.

I have recently put an MOE rifle stock on my mid length build.  Am now trying to decide what to do about a sling since I lost my ability to connect a single point sling to my build.

One option that I was thinking of was attaching a short section of rail to the bottom of the stock and hooking up a traditional two point sling.

option number 2 was getting a side sling swivel mount and attaching a Vickers sling to my build using the A2 butt-stock adapter.

3) QD Swivel on MOE stock ---------> Run Original one point sling.

4) Just don't worry about it.

Thanks for the assist.

iwc flush mount qd socket installed in the stock? not sure what the inside looks like on those stocks but i would assume its mostly hollow and would be able to fit an iwc no problem.

Here is what I'm doing as I also have a MOE stock.

This QD Endplate
+
This sling "combo" note the 2 point to 1 point triglide.

I think that I may add one of these MOE QD mountsto my stock for another mounting option.

This is MAGPUL's QD mount.

I don't think is is possible to put

an MOE Fixed Stock

with a single sling mount

Sorry B62stew - I miss-read your post and thought MOE Carbine stock.  Since you're using the MOE Rifle stock - something like this would be in order. I know I've seen loops, and webbing slots but I'm not sure I've seen anything for a QD.

Edit:  Not sure on compatibility with the Magpul stock so you may want to check with Magpul or the individual Sling adapter manufacturer.

Reading is FUNdamental - if it were me, I'd use the front QD mount on the stock and see how that worked.

N/P regularAZguy.

I have been thinking along the same lines that putting a QD swivel on the rifle would be the best option.  I saw a three point sling but that would interfere with the free float rail that is on my build.

LaRue has on their site a QD that fits in the stock that is pretty slick. Check it out. I will be adding one to my MOE.  I like having my 2 pt as wide as possible not attached to lower. Most of the time anyway.

I ended up going with the QD sling Swivel mount option and I really enjoy it.  Thanks for all the help.
