OK,
I bought a couple of slings about two years ago that were multi conversion sling... i can't remember where or what name at all anymore...and they have been modded by as well to a single only sling... Anyhow, to my question... I'm looking for a single point sling with a quick release... But i'm a wimp and want one that is padded... the ones i have are great...i know I got rid of much of the junk on them...Just down to an adjustable single point... So, what's out there... |

I've had the convertible type and don't care for them too much... I shoot from my single points all the time and don't have much of a need for convertible... I have a couple of long guns on two point slings...but they are not for cqb.. So, answer is dedicated single point with quick detach... Current slings have a small piece of webbing on the ring of the ASAP then a quick disconnect to your adjustable shoulder loop. I prefer webbing and plastic for less rattling...any decent plastic part will probably break your arm before it breaks. Even in the cold...and easily replaced when needed. Guess that all... Bret |
