[ARCHIVED THREAD] - What sling

New to AR's bought a DDv5. Bought it then had to leave to Cali for work so its home in a safe place. I would like to get a good sling before I get back and not sure what sling or attachments I may need. It has the 12" Omega X Rail on it with the MOE stock. And no never got to try it before I left

Depends on what kind of 1, 2, and 3 point slings. I use a vtac padded sling, with qd swivels an 2to1 triglide from IWC. I can change from 2 to 1 point and move my sling to different points on the rifle.

+1 on the VTAC. I have a sling adapter that goes on the front end of the buffer tube and a quick detach one that is on the far end of my rails. Use this setup on multiple trips overseas.
