I seen two different bipods, one has push button legs and the other has twist legs. Which do you guys prefer ?
What length works for you ? |
|
The one that works?
I presume by "push button legs" you mean a Grip Pod. If you get one, get one that's mil-surp, not a "brand new" one, unless you really know what you're looking for. Like everything else, there are a lot of cheap chinese knock-offs (saw a few at the last gun show) and "airsoft" models being sold as the real thing. The real ones feel solid, the cheaper ones... dont. |

OP, I prefer the spring loaded legs. They're just faster and you don't have to worry about tightening them and loosening them. You press the button and go. |
| What I was thinking about is using a bipod on uneven ground. The push button ones only have a couple places where they lock, the twist ones seem like they have a infinite adjustment where one leg and be extended 7" and the other leg be at whatever it needs to hold the gun straight vertically. Since I have no experience with a bipod maybe I am thinking wrong ? |
