I am trying to find a decent case option to carry my AR with 2 upper and a few mags and other small gear, I want something discreet. I like the looks of the LaRue case but I just can't tell from pictures if 2 uppers will fit in there. I am also open to hearing any other ideas of cases I should look at.

I bought a hardshell tactical case for my 6920 a few months ago and I couldn't be happier. Don't be fooled though, it's not the greatest construction but it provides my rifle with the protection it needs when it sits in the truck of my patrol vehicle. Plus, for the price (approximately $60) it can't be beat. Keep in mind though, I don't fly with my rifle so it might not be what you're looking for. If I were you, I'd buy the model with blank foam as opposed to the precut model. That will allow you to position your uppers and mags where you want them. Other then Bulldog, you can't go wrong with Pelican but that will cost you a few hundred bucks.... Hope that helps. |
