I basically just got this:
http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/item/M4-LEP-22-Rifle-1640 and was trying to figure out what my options are for a sling. I don't know of any options of things I can do to have an attachment point at the front. The only thing I can think to do is get some sort of swivel attachment point that goes around the buffer tube and doing a 1 point sling. I'm looking for other ideas from your more knowledgeable folks. Thanks. |
| http://www.tacstrap.com/ is an awesome sling works as a 1 point / 2 point so you can wear it however you like . also for a front sling mount http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/CQD-Sling-Mount-Front-p/cqd%20fsm.htm is what I'm running up front . It can mount up front under the gas block if you have a rail there . its a rail mounted sling mount . |

I think I'll have to do the tacstrap type sling or else I would have to replace the front gas block with one that has a rail underneath and I don't really want to spend money on another gas block. How do you want to run your sling?
Standard USGI 2 point type just for slinging over the shoulder? You could add a rail section to the front of the bottom handguard and add a picatinny sling swivel. Mount the rear to the sling loop on the buttstock. Tactical sling worn on the side of the rifle? One option: Add a picatinny rial to the top handguard and install something like the Magpul RSA (Rail Sling Attachment). Then add a GG&G Sling Thing on the buttstock or change out the receiver endplate for one with a sling mount that works with the sling of your choice. You could also replace the handgaurds with Magpul MOE handguards and then get the Magpul MSA (MOE Sling Attachment). Do the same as above with the rear. For slings, I use and recommend the Emdom Gunslinger. I also use the ikickhippies SLAP receiver endplate. A buddy of mine uses the Savy Sniper QUAD sling and it's a good sling as well. He has his using HK snap hooks. |

I think the wire loop and the LA Police Gear sling would work adequately so I'll go with that. The Tareinco sling can be ordered with any type of attachments you want. Have one with 2 QDs, and one with 1 qd and one HK. |

I've been trying to decide on a sling set-up for my POF midlength and this is the component list I've got or on order,so far.
