For those who have aluminum free floating tube and have no Sling Stud or any way to mount a Bipod to your free floating tube I have been searching for a week for a solution to my problem. All I have been told is to buy the sling stud and drill a hole in it and it would be set. Well I have an A2 with carry handle built into upper and no rails anywhere. So was looking to mount more than the bipod I need a light, I need laser, I need bipod LOL so I was looking for some kind of adapter to make this happen. Well I went to 2 gun shows 2 weeks in a row on a mission to find something. I was looking to get something. I was told by one vender I could buy his 8 rail free floating tube for $300.00 plus the $150.00 gun smith charge cause they would have to take the front sight and gas block off and put new free float tube on and then reassemble it. Well I think that is $300.00+ tax the $150.00 Labor Nah I can buy a carbine AR for $550.00 and have another weapon. So I sought out every gun shop within 50 mile radius and same thin wanted to sell me another free float tube with rails. I just can't see throwing mine away there's nothing wrong with it. So I found it finally and already ordered it can't wait to get it in the mail I will post pics when I get it.
So for those who have slick free float tubes like me here is the link you need. http://www.opticsplanet.net/hogue-picatinny-cuff-rail-and-swivel-stud-attachment-for-two-inch-free-float-ar-foren.html |
