Hey guys. Im looking for a decent discreet soft rifle case for my 16" mid length AR15.
Not looking to break the bank but something affordable with decent quality will do. I'm aware of the Larue ones, but i'd like to spend less if possible. |

Here is one i don't have one but i have read it is a nice bag for a reasonable price.

To me, most purpose built "discreet" cases on the market still look like rifle cases.
I found keyboard gig bags to fit the bill nicely. The 49-key variety generally fit a carbine almost perfectly as the interior length is generally 35-36" and they are usually well padded. 5.11 Tactical has this bag which caught my eye as well. |

A bit more expensive option, but I've found that Beretta makes soft cases for takedown shotguns that have some color to them. Mine has carry handles as well as a shoulder strap. My 16" middy with E-mod stock will fit as long as the stock is on the last couple of notches. I like it because the bag is non-specific enough where it could pass for an athletic or instrument bag.
I think this is the current version: Beretta soft bag |
