I want to get a bipod but not sure which way to go

Here are my thoughts. Keep in mind I will be using it exclusively off a bench

Go with one of the LaRue packages

Get an off brand one that will be much less

Now my other question swivel or non swivel? 6-9 inch or 9-13 inch. Right now I only have 30 round pmags so keep that in mind.

Thanks for the input

If you're only ever going to use it on a bench, why not just get a good, solid bench rest and be able to use it with many guns?

How much coin are you willing to spend?

For just using it off the bench the 6-9" would be fine.

Here's a recent bipod thread on a different forum, take a look at their suggestions.

Depending on the table height compared to the chair height, the 9-13" might be a hassle. The benches at my local club seem to be setup for shooting off a sandbag more than anything. I have the same problem with my FAL there.

for bench, get something cheap and high enough.....no need to break the bank on a bipod

Have you thought of the grip pod route? I fully enjoy mine
